You are entitled to vote for your Local representatives, including your Local Coordinator, Bargaining Unit President, unit representatives and those on committees, such as Health and Safety, Professional Development and Labour-Management.
Members are welcome–and encouraged–to let their name stand for any Local or Bargaining Unit position. Your input is needed!

The Election Committee is accepting nominations for the following positions for the 2027–2029 term:
Be sure to check your ONA bargaining unit bulletin board for other bargaining unit positions that are currently open for election. Members are encouraged to consider running for a leadership position and helping shape the future of our Local.

Members interested in running for any of the above positions are encouraged to contact their Bargaining Unit President or Tammy Aitken at gro.ano@054PUB400lacol to obtain a nomination form (or locate on your workplace union board).
Nomination forms must be fully completed, emailed, and received by the Election Committee Chair, Tammy Aitken, at gro.ano@054PUB400lacol no later than August 27, 2026.
A list of nominated candidates will be distributed to members and/or posted on the ONA bulletin board at the workplace by September 6, 2026.
Electronic Voting Period: September 16–23, 2026
Eligible members will receive electronic voting instructions and secure voting credentials through their personal email address on file with ONA.
